Our Cafe

Our cafe has recently been dramatically extended and is now spacious, light and has a view of the beautiful Brockham fields. We have space for twenty inside as well as two tables set outside on the green, which are very popular when the rare British sunshine arrives!

Offering freshly baked pastries, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, the cafe is a great spot for a weekend breakfast; with our hot sausage rolls and chilled quiches, we are a popular lunch spot for cyclists riding the Surrey Hills; and with our cream teas, slices of locally made cakes and sandwiches, we are ideal for an afternoon tea catch up!

If you’re enjoying a quiet coffee break alone, you can help yourself to our free library and peruse our cafe exhibitions. These change every couple of months and feature illustration, painting and photography, if you would like to exhibit please just contact us.

Our cafe also offers essential services to the local community:

  • Free Wi-Fi access
  • An in-store computer which can be used for free offline, and costs £1 for 30 minutes if you’re using the internet
  • A4 colour printing and photocopying
  • Two large noticeboards for community and business notices
  • Free paperback library
  • Exhibition space for local artists

This means that the cafe makes a great workspace for locals who work from home and need a change of scenery, and it can be used and even booked out for meetings.

We look forward to serving you a cappuccino, using artisan coffee from Rusper-based Coffee REAL, and a slice of locally-made Victoria sponge cake very soon.
